In a red sari, Maanvi Gagroo married comedian Kumar Varun
The wedding season is well underway. Maanvi Gagroo, of Four more shots please! fame, and comedian-actor Kumar Varun are the latest couple to tie their knot. On Thursday, the couple announced their official relationship on Instagram. The couple's intimate celebrations, as you can see from the photos, were limited to a court wedding in the company of close friends.
The actress chose a Shantanu Goenka cadmium red silk sari for her big day. The net base of the sari is decorated with floral resham embroidery. It's paired with a matching, sleeveless blouse. The sari's color complimented her skin tone, which was made even more evident by her rosy make-up look.
Maanvi Gagroo chose the minimal bridal look to match the likes of Alia Bhatti and Kiara Avani. Gagroo's features were enhanced by a minimally-there makeup look. She used a subtle smokey eye and filled-in eyebrows. Her bridal glow was enhanced by a matching rosy pink blush and a creamy lip color that matches her outfit.
With a quick blowout, her hair was free to fly in the wind. This made it the perfect canvas to create a second dupatta using the same fabric as her skirt and matching her traditional pokie choker. Due to her Kashmiri heritage, she wore red and gold Chudas on both her hands as well as the traditional Dejhoor.
Maanvi Gagroo's minimalist bridal look is a great inspiration for minimalist brides that don't need a full-length lehenga. She also argues that the sari should be a timeless classic no matter what the occasion.
